Over the last several years the club has looked at ways to enhance and strengthen our club while adhering to our vision of providing the highest quality soccer experience to all interested youth in our community, regardless of their financial means.

Today, we are taking another step forward and are excited to announce the new name of our Select Program.

Iowa United FC

The J-Hawk Soccer Club will continue to be the overarching club with our Recreational Club maintaining our existing name and logo.  The new Iowa United FC logo ties in nicely as we will continue to share the same color scheme while paying homage to our roots with the “U” within the tail feathers and between the upper wings.

Over the last ten years, there has been confusion in many families whether a player has to live in Urbandale to participate in the club. The board of directors is hoping that the name change to Iowa United FC will eliminate any confusion regarding club membership. Whether Iowa United FC or the J-Hawk Soccer Club, children from ALL communities are welcome to play in our soccer club. 

We hope that you all are as excited as we are as we look to take another step forward this season.
