The biggest reason why I wanted to help with Iowa United jerseys and spiritwear is to live out one of the J-Hawk Soccer mottos of helping everyone be able to afford to play soccer.  I love the fact, and I am very proud of the fact that the U16 boys team has built a culture of "being a good citizen and person first, and a good soccer player second."  Being able to help Iowa United in a couple of volunteer roles has humbled me and made me want to help more... if I can help the club make a few extra dollars so they can provide the Veo Cameras, the Techne apps, and all the other features that the "bigger clubs" use, then Iowa United can continue to flourish and grow and truly make soccer more affordable for everyone...
